For the sixth year in the row, Fortune Magazine has determined that there is no automaker more loved than Toyota. Toyota is the top automaker on Fortune’s 2020 World’s Most Admired Companies list, upholding its reputation for having the top reputation in the business.

“This honor underscores our collective commitment to continuous improvement for our customers, and I can’t wait to see what lies ahead for Toyota,” said Jim Lentz, CEO, Toyota Motor North America.

Toyota ranked 30th overall with an overall score of 8.4. Fortune ranked Toyota No. 1 in eight of its nine criteria, including social responsibility, quality of products and services, long-term investment value, and global competitiveness. Toyota was the only mainstream automotive brand to earn an All-Star ranking by securing a spot in the top 50; the closest non-luxury brand to Toyota ranked 147th overall, driving home the all-around exceptionalness of Toyota.

The 2020 World’s Most Admired Companies list was determined from a field of 680 major companies representing 30 countries. Korn Ferry Hay Group, who conducts the survey, asked 3,750 executives, directors, and securities analysts to select their 10 favorite companies, which means that Toyota is in high standing among some of the brightest minds in business.

More importantly, Toyota has a great reputation with customers thanks to its ever-evolving lineup, which now includes must-see and must-drive vehicles like the all-new 2020 Toyota Highlander and the first-ever 2020 Toyota Corolla Hybrid.
