XSE Sport-Tuned Suspension

Unique to Highlander XSE is a sport-tuned suspension that lets it hug the road a little tighter. Retuned shock absorbers, higher-rate springs and a rear stabilizer bar give you enhanced handling on the road, while its lower, athletic stance shows everyone that it’s ready to hit the ground running.

Dynamic Torque Vectoring AWD

Enjoy an upgrade in all-wheel-drive performance. Available Dynamic Torque Vectoring All-Wheel Drive (TV-AWD) improves responsiveness and stability by sending up to 50 percent of the power to the rear and then further distributing more power to the wheel that needs it.

Multi-Terrain Select

Offering you more capability when the pavement ends, Highlander features Multi-Terrain Select (MTS) on All-Wheel Drive (AWD) models. Choose between four modes (Mud & Sand, Rock & Dirt, Snow and Normal) for enhanced traction. When activated, the system is designed to sense slippage and regulate wheelspin—helping to maximize driving performance on different surfaces.

Service Connect

Stay up to date on your Highlander’s information. Your Highlander comes with an up to 10-year trial to Service Connect, which provides you with data such as mileage, fuel level and service history. Enable maintenance alerts and receive maintenance reminders that can also be sent to your preferred dealer for extra convenience. Up to 10-year trial included.

Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control

Intended for highway use, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) lets you drive at a preset speed. The system uses vehicle-to-vehicle distance control, helping maintain a preset distance from the vehicle ahead of you.

Lane Departure Alert With Steering Assist

When detecting white or yellow lane markings, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA) is designed to issue an audio/visual warning if it detects an inadvertent lane departure. The system is also designed to provide gentle corrective steering if the driver does not take corrective action.

Lane Tracing Assist

When Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) is enabled and lane markers are detectable, Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) uses the lines on the road and/or preceding vehicles to help keep the vehicle centered in its lane.

Road Sign Assist

Using an intelligent camera, Road Sign Assist (RSA) is designed to detect speed limit signs, stop signs, Do Not Enter signs and yield signs, and display them on the Multi-Information Display (MID).

Automatic High Beams

The Automatic High Beams (AHB) are designed to help you see more clearly at night at speeds above 25 mph. The AHB system is designed to detect the headlights and taillights of other vehicles, then automatically toggle between high and low beams.

Front and Rear Parking Assist With Automatic Braking

Available Front and Rear Parking Assist with Automatic Braking (PA w/AB) has audible and visual warnings, and in certain conditions may automatically apply the brakes when there is a possibility of contact with a stationary object or vehicle. Simulation shown.
