Electronically Locking Rear Differential

Tundra’s available electronically locking rear differential for TRD Pro and TRD Off-Road Packages evenly distributes engine power to both rear wheels. Once the system is engaged, both rear wheels move at the same speed and provide more grip in low-traction conditions.

Premium Towing Machine

When hitched up, Tundra’s advanced towing tech works its magic. After you plug the trailer in to Tundra’s available 7-pin connector, Tundra calculates its length without any input from the driver. And with two new TOW/HAUL modes, Tundra can adjust throttle response based on what you’re towing. Adaptive Variable Suspension

Now available for the first time on Tundra, Adaptive Variable Suspension (AVS) adjusts damping force based on ever-changing road conditions. Load-Leveling Rear Height Control Air Suspension

Available on certain grades, this system also lets you choose from three manual height modes: High, for slow-speed, off-road driving; Low, to help with loading and unloading; and Normal, for everyday driving.

Active Aero Front Splitter

Tundra’s available active aero front splitter adapts to driving conditions for maximum aerodynamic efficiency. When you’re driving above 37 mph, the splitter automatically deploys to modify airflow for improved efficiency. Intended for highway use, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) lets you drive at a preset speed. DRCC is designed to function at speeds of 25-110 mph and uses vehicle-to-vehicle distance control, helping maintain a preset distance from the vehicle ahead of you.

Lane Departure Alert With Steering Assist

By detecting visible white/yellow lane markings at speeds above 32 mph, Lane Departure Alert (LDA) is designed to issue an audio/visual alert if an inadvertent lane departure is detected.

Lane Tracing Assist

When Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) is enabled and lane markers are detectable, Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) uses preceding vehicles and/or the lines on the road to help you stay centered in your lane.

Road Sign Assist

Using an intelligent camera, Road Sign Assist (RSA) is designed to detect speed limit signs, stop signs, Do Not Enter signs, and yield signs. The system displays the signs on the Multi-Information Display (MID).
