Available color Head-Up Display

Let’s look ahead. The available color Head-Up Display (HUD) uses aircraft-inspired technology to project important information, like speed and Hybrid System Indicator info, right onto the windshield. Standard on Limited, this full-color display can also show turn-by-turn directions, helping you keep your eyes safely on the road.

Three USB ports

The Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD) is designed to help detect a vehicle or a pedestrian in certain situations. Using both a camera and radar, PCS w/PD can provide an audio/visual alert to warn you of a possible collision under certain circumstances. If you don’t react, the system is designed to automatically brake.

Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control

Intended for highway use, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) lets you drive at a preset speed. The system is designed to function between 0-110 mph and uses vehicle-to-vehicle distance control, helping maintain a preset distance from the vehicle ahead of you.

Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist

By detecting visible white/yellow lane markings or the road’s edge at speeds above 32 mph, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA) is designed to issue an audio/visual alert if an inadvertent lane departure is detected. If the driver does not take corrective action, the Steering Assist function is designed to provide gentle corrective steering.

Automatic High Beams

The Automatic High Beams (AHB) safety system is designed to help you see more clearly at night at speeds above 25 mph. The AHB system can detect the headlights of oncoming vehicles and taillights of preceding vehicles, then automatically toggles between high and low beams accordingly.

Lane Tracing Assist

When Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) is enabled and lane markers are detectable, Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) uses the lines on the road and/or preceding vehicles to help keep the vehicle centered in its lane.

Road Sign Assist

Using an intelligent camera, Road Sign Assist (RSA) is designed to detect speed limit signs, stop signs, Do Not Enter signs and yield signs, and display them on the Multi-Information Display (MID).

Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert

Available Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) is designed to help look out for your safety. The Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) warns you when a vehicle in the next lane enters Prius’ blind spot on either side of the vehicle. And when you’re in Reverse, the Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) helps detect vehicles approaching from either side, warning you with side mirror indicators and a warning tone.

Integrated backup camera

When you’re in Reverse, the standard backup camera activates and gives you a view of what’s happening directly behind your car. Let this feature help you when you’re backing up or parking in a tight spot.
