Meet the New 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime

The fifth generation of the Toyota RAV4 ushered in a couple brand new models, starting with the RAV4 TRD Off-Road variant. More recently, Toyota also pulled off the covers of a 2021 Toyota RAV4 model that will hit dealerships like Wondries Toyota this summer: the Toyota RAV4 Prime.

The 2021 Toyota RAV4 Prime is the quickest, most powerful, and most fuel-efficient RAV4 ever created — and it’s a plug-in hybrid to boot. According to Toyota estimates, the new RAV4 Prime can launch from 0-60 mph in just 5.8 seconds. The potent RAV4 Prime, with its sport-tuned suspension and advanced all-wheel drive, will crank out 302 horsepower yet still manage up to 90 MPGe. In fact, Toyota estimates that the RAV4 Prime will get 39 miles of electric driving alone, meaning, if you drive intelligently, you can go potentially hundreds or thousands of miles without ever having to stop for fuel.

You will be able to get the 2020 RAV4 Prime in SE and XSE grades, meaning you can expect athletic performance and an abundance of comfort and convenience features, plus premium style.

Most importantly, the Toyota RAV4 Prime, as well as all other RAV4 models, will come standard with Toyota Safety Sense 2.0, which includes the Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist, Automatic High Beams, Road Sign Assist, and Lane Tracing Assist.
