Driving Modes
Fine-tune the way you drive your Prius with four driving modes. EV Mode lets you operate solely on battery power at low speeds for short distances and in limited circumstances, such as in a parking garage. Different conditions may prevent or limit usage. Power Mode provides sharper acceleration; ECO Mode helps maximize fuel efficiency; and Normal Mode blends fuel economy with performance.

Advanced Park
Designed to assist you with parallel parking or backing into a parking space, available Advanced Park is there for you with the touch of a button. This hands-free parking system uses cameras and sensors, along with steering control, and acceleration, braking and gear changes, to help you get into that perfect spot.

Panoramic View Monitor
Prius’ available Panoramic View Monitor helps you check your surroundings for hazards. It uses four cameras, one on each side of the vehicle, to display a panoramic view on the touchscreen display. When you’re parked and using the Moving View setting, Prius creates an animated virtual view from above to give you a bigger picture of what’s around.

Qi Wireless Charging and USB Ports
Ditch the cables with available Qi-compatible wireless charging. Simply place your Qi-compatible device in the charging slot to wirelessly charge up while on the go. And for more versatility and added convenience, Prius comes with six USB-c ports so you can connect and power up a variety of devices.

Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive (AWD)
For peace of mind when the weather is less than perfect, Prius’ available Electronic On-Demand All-Wheel Drive (AWD) gives you a confident drive. Dedicated electric drive motors automatically provide power to the rear tires when AWD senses slipping, and when extra traction isn’t required, Prius will continue to send power to the front wheels.

Safety & Convenience
Blind Spot Monitor with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert
Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) with Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) is designed to help look out for your safety. Blind Spot Monitor (BSM) warns you when a vehicle in the next lane enters Prius’ blind spot on either side of the vehicle. And when you’re in reverse, Rear Cross-Traffic Alert (RCTA) helps detect vehicles approaching from either side, warning you with side mirror indicators and a warning tone.

Integrated Backup Camera
Put Prius in reverse and the standard backup camera automatically activates to show you what’s behind your vehicle on the available 12.3-in. multimedia display.

Safe Exit Assist
By using radar sensors inside the rear bumper, Safe Exit Assist (SEA) helps detect approaching vehicles or bicycles from the rear. If the system determines that there may be a collision with a door opening, an audible alert can be heard as a visual alert appears on the side mirrors.

Toyota Safety Sense™ 3.0
Pre-Collision System With Pedestrian Detection
Pre-Collision System with Pedestrian Detection (PCS w/PD) is designed to help detect a vehicle, pedestrian, bicyclist or motorcyclist and provide an audio/visual forward-collision warning under certain circumstances. If you don’t react, the system is designed to provide automatic emergency braking.
Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control
Intended for highway use, Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) is an adaptive cruise control system that is designed to be set at speeds above 20 mph and uses vehicle-to-vehicle distance control to help maintain a preset distance from the vehicle ahead of you.
Lane Departure Alert With Steering Assist
When white/yellow lane markings or certain road-edge boundary lines are detected at speeds above 30 mph, Lane Departure Alert with Steering Assist (LDA w/SA) is designed to issue an audio/visual lane-departure warning if an inadvertent lane departure is detected. If the driver does not take corrective action, the system is also designed to provide gentle corrective steering for lane-keeping assistance.
Lane Tracing Assist
When Full-Speed Range Dynamic Radar Cruise Control (DRCC) is enabled and lane markers are detected, Lane Tracing Assist (LTA) uses the lines on the road and/or preceding vehicles to provide active driving assistance and help keep the vehicle centered in its lane. While LTA is activated, the Emergency Drive Stop System (EDSS) is designed to monitor the driver’s inputs, such as steering operation. If the EDSS determines the driver is not attentive and the driver does not respond to prompts to resume control of the vehicle, it can bring the vehicle to a stop under certain conditions.
Road Sign Assist
Using an intelligent camera, Road Sign Assist (RSA) is designed to detect speed limit signs, stop signs, Do Not Enter signs and yield signs, and display an icon of the sign on the Multi-Information Display (MID).
Automatic High Beams
Automatic High Beams (AHB) are designed to help you see more clearly at night at speeds above 21 mph. The AHB system is designed to detect the headlights of oncoming vehicles and taillights of preceding vehicles, then automatically toggle between high and low beams accordingly.
Proactive Driving Assist
When system operating conditions are met, using the vehicle’s camera and radar, Proactive Driving Assist (PDA) provides gentle braking into curves or gentle braking and/or steering to help support driving tasks such as distance control between your vehicle and a preceding vehicle, pedestrian or bicyclist.
Audio Multimedia
12.3-in. Toyota Audio Multimedia
Designed to enhance every moment behind the wheel, Prius’ available 12.3-in. Toyota Audio Multimedia touchscreen gives you access, with an active Drive Connect trial or subscription, to the new Human Machine Interface (HMI). This interface heightens your interactions through sight, touch and even voice recognition that lets you activate the system with a phrase like, “Hey, Toyota.” From listening to music to finding your destinations, and more—stay connected to every adventure. 1-year trial is included/standard only on Limited and XLE premium upgrades. LE is Drive Connect-capable, but a subscription is required, and no trial is included. Activation required.
