The 2020 Toyota GR Supra made its long-, long-awaited debut in January at the 2019 Detroit Auto Show. It will be the fifth-generation model in the Supra family and the first-ever global Toyota GAZOO Racing model, riding a racing heritage that spans over 50 years of engineering.
Set to go on sale in summer of 2019, the Toyota GR Supra will offer two different models, the 3.0 and 3.0 Premium. The standard 3.0-liter Twin-Scroll turbo-six engine churns out 335 horsepower and 365 lb-ft of torque, mated to an eight-speed automatic transmission with smooth shifting and delivering exceptional driving dynamics. The GR Supra will also be the fastest Toyota car to date, with a projected 0-60 mph acceleration of only 4.1 seconds.
The 2020 Toyota GR Supra will also be a driver-friendly vehicle in other senses. It boasts power sport seats with memory (and heating with the 3.0 Premium) and the latest in infotainment and active safety. The GR Supra 3.0 Premium gets an 8.8-inch touchscreen display with navigation, Supra Connect telematics, wireless phone charging, and a 12-speaker JBL® audio system.
